Evaluation: Schlitterbahn

Creating a modular design:

The christmas theme runs continuously throughout the design. The floral design along with the christmas colors flow graciously, and mend well together without becoming boring.

Consistency in layout:

The designer kept the layout very simple. The textures were used throughout the entire site, but they didn't however become overwhelming. Another consistency was the fonts and colors used in the collected pages. The decorations add to the overall scheme and feel of the site.

Is this site made for print or web?

This site could be made into a brochure only because of the many topics throughout the site. Of course the visual movies will not be able to play, although the images could easily be placed in the print to give the same feel and emotion this creates.

Final Thoughts

This site is well put together. It is easy to overcrowd with information, texture, and imagery but I feel that the designer separated and organized everything as best they could. For me the site is visually pleasing, exciting, and fun.
